🎧 aurals.lc

aurals.lc is a web-based platform I built designed to more easily navigate Leaving Certificate aural exams, currently being used by hundreds of students and teachers across Ireland.

It provides a seamless experience for students by leveraging AI-based transcription, section detection,

and interactive playback controls. (much better than what the official site offers in my opinion)

I went through a couple iterations, first detecting the sections using audible beeps, to using OpenAI's Whisper to now using a combination of Whisper & EleventLabs's API alongside LLMs to detect the sections in transcriptions.

Its got everthing from:

- PWA support

- Automatic section detection

- Support for a lot of LC languages (more coming soon when I find time)

- Integration with official exam audio archives

- Local state persistence

Codebase currently private to comply with sponsor agreements.
